As a managing director of Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP), Vahe A. Dombalagian is one of a number of experienced team members that leverage the firm's more than 20 years of finance-related experience to oversee investment opportunities across five dedicated industry verticals: business and government software and services, financial and transaction services, basic industries, health care, and telecom, media, and technology services. Vahe A. Dombalagian has been working in varying capacities at MDP since 2001. Currently, he is active in the financial and transaction services area. The firm traces its origins back to the early 1980s, and has completed investments with more than 140 companies.

Prior to joining MDP, Vahe A. Dombalagian worked as an associate at Texas Pacific Group, where he performed financial analysis, analyzed potential investment opportunities, and supported senior personnel. He began his career in 1995 as an analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc.

Mr. Dombalagian holds an MBA and bachelor's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and Georgetown University, respectively. When he isn't working, he enjoys spending time with his family, his two dogs and following his favorite sports teams, which include the Baltimore Orioles (MLB), Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA) and Washington Redskins (NFL).
